Something is happening and it's burying our content alive But hope it just one shovel away. The online world is becoming super crowded. Every day, millions of GPT made articles fill our screens This flood of content is changing how people read things online. People are growing tired of looking one more emoji-riddled article . they are reading less - and in some cases not reading at all. All this generated crap is creating reader burnout. And It's depriving your content of eyeballs. The answer(s)What makes good content stand out? The answer lies in being yourself - human. Our own experiences, problems, and insights speak to readers. Value comes from solving problems, adding value and being relatable to humans And your uniqueness becomes your signature - that is difficult to forge. Yesterday's rule was "don't write about something you can google" Today, its "don't write about something you can generate". But making great content is only half the work. Hooks are the life raft of content"Don't be just another post in the scroll graveyard." In today's packed online world The best writing needs a hook to catch attention. Hooks are a style of writing that makes you stop and read. Some people spend 90% of their time on getting the hook right. The best linkedin content often uses a double hook Where the article image also acts as a hook. Some writers like Lara Acosta - craft writing where every line is a hook. Justin Welsh spends all his time on his first 2-3 lines to make it pop. My hooks are simple - start by summarizing first. Then make each line push to the next Patterns Make your content stand outPeople are resorting to new tricks to make their work noticed Some authors make their content stand out. They shape each sentence Crafting it carefully But why? The Shape is attractive It's seen as they scroll past It acts like a hook all by itself. One of the many shapes people use is the K or S. There are others. But this paragraph is a K shape - did it work? And write for mobile. When you're going through hell, keep goingSuccess in this world takes patience and staying power. It's a slow process of finding what works. Then building reader connections. And always delivering unique value. Don't let the noise of computer-made content stop you from sharing your story. See it as a chance to show what makes your view special.. Double down on all things human. Storytelling is more valuable than ever. PS: As I'm continuing to build out a GTM business to help solo and small startups, I'm looking to help a few people to prove concepts. If anyone is looking for help getting more eyeballs, automating your business and generating more revenue, reply with "SOLD" and we can book some time to see how I can help. No commitment - just clarity. |
