Well hi! I'm on vacation right now, so I will be getting this newsletter ready for the new year. Everyone wants to know: You launched a new company. You settled on an idea. Why the name "Flywheel Founders"? Where does it come from? When I first started working I did a lot of workflow and system design. That's trying to make companies go faster by doing less and doing better. Systems Design has been a part of my thought process ever since. I'm always finding ways to do less and have a bigger impact. (note: this is not an approved parenting strategy). A "Flywheel" is a heavy revolving wheel in a machine that increases the machine's momentum and stores energy in case of interruptions. "Flywheel" is also used to describe frictionless & great customer journeys that grows revenue on it's own. Amazon has built scale using these principles. Amazon's "Buy now" button is a great example of a frictionless customer experience that increases revenue. So with Flywheel Founders, I am helping solo founders and solopreneurs build profitable startups. The name "Flywheel Founders" was my wife's idea, because "people like alliteration in naming things". My wife always has the best names. With Flywheel Founders, I'm focused on the customer journey AND the founder journey. Cheers - Matt PS: I'm going to be doing some workshops before the Founders starts it's first season. I'll be doing three workshops (think: short course plus time to talk about your challenges). Each one will be $60 and all three for $105. If you join the first season as a member, I'll discount your payment so the courses will be included. |
